David Calkins is a mission-driven cybersecurity professional and U.S. Army veteran with over a decade of experience in cyber threat intelligence, vulnerability management, digital forensics, and security operations. Leveraging a deep background in reconnaissance, surveillance, and secure systems management, David has supported complex intelligence and cybersecurity missions across government, defense, and private sectors.
David specializes in transforming raw intelligence into actionable insights. He has mapped adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures using the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and conducted red and blue team operations. His hands-on experience spans utilizing security tools including Splunk, Metasploit, Aircrack-ng, Wireshark, FTK Imager, and a variety of SIEM/SOAR and EDR/XDR platforms.
David is well-versed in cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and RMF (Army STAND TO!), and has successfully implemented policy, compliance, and vulnerability remediation strategies to protect critical infrastructure.
